Wiggley Field

Come on Lucy, you know you had fun! I think I stopped at every dog park along the way. Some of them we even visited twice. And remember the crabs you enjoyed digging for in Virginia! You thought the beach was an all you can eat seafood buffet. In fact out here in California you still dig at the beach.

We did a lot of amazing things. And stealth camping was fun. But now we're going to do it in something bigger than the Prius. This way I have room for your dog toys. And if it rains outside we can play in the van! This van is almost as big as the apartment. Except for you have a big outdoor area to play in.

Stealth Camping in Atlantic City

Alright Lucy, you remember Mr Peanut. Atlantic City was a lot of fun. We walked up and down the boardwalk, gambled, and just for s**** and giggles camped at the Taj Mahal. Who else can say that? We were breaking the law not a big one and having a great time.

So we're trying again!

Our trip to Virginia was a shakedown. I wanted to try and see what was working and what was not.

Unfortunately Lucy got homesick. I didn't know dogs could get homesick but Lucy was. And actually I was sort of homesick too. I missed a lot of things including my art supplies.

So this time things are going to be different.

While staying in our cozy apartment someone tried to break into Nir-van-a. She is mostly unpenetrable, but some clever genius thought they could come in through the roof. And they tore off my vent. Then they figured out unless they have a 6 inch waist you can't fit through the opening. So this is what it looked like, what a mess!

So I think it's a great starting point what do you think?

Oh no Mommy!

This is the face I get when I tell her we are going camping. Lucy has an active social life and she really does miss her friends.

But she is going to have a great new social life. Think os all of the dog parks we can visit.

I will have to make this transition slowly. We will go away for weekends and then return. This way Lucy learns that traveling is not permanent, but fun!
